The Chamber of Commerce of St. Joseph County is comprised of 1,200 businesses representing over 96,000 employees. We are 5-Star accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for outstanding operations. This is the highest rating a chamber can receive, with only 16 percent of chambers in the country receiving this rating.

Have recently retired from SaraLee as Director of Continuous Improvement and applaud the activity around trying to attract new business and retain the current businesses. I read Jeff Rea’s column this morning on family private businesses. I think this is the wave of the future as our economy cycles back and forth.
